Cast2Crew — Child Safety Standards Policy

Operator: Cast 2 Crew Pty Ltd

Effective Date: 01/10/2026

Updated: 09/10/2026

1. Our Commitment

Cast 2 Crew Pty Ltd has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation, including child sexual abuse material.

Cast2Crew is intended exclusively for people aged 18 years and over. However, we recognise that a person under 18 may attempt to access the platform by providing false information or bypassing registration restrictions.

Our age restriction does not reduce our commitment to protecting children. This policy applies to all users and all areas of Cast2Crew, including profiles, posts, comments, messages, communities, listings, uploaded media and live streams.

For this policy, a child is anyone under 18 years of age.

2. Prohibited Content and Behaviour

Users must not create, upload, request, share, promote or facilitate content or behaviour involving:

  • Child sexual abuse material, including photographs, videos, live streams or other material depicting sexual abuse or exploitation of a child.
  • AI-generated, manipulated or synthetic material depicting child sexual abuse or exploitation.
  • Grooming or contacting a child for sexual purposes.
  • Sexual conversations with a child or requests for sexual images, videos or acts.
  • Sexual extortion, threats or blackmail involving a child.
  • Trafficking, arranging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of children.
  • Links, instructions or offers that help others obtain or distribute child sexual abuse material.

These prohibitions apply regardless of whether the content is described as fictional, private, consensual or intended as a joke.

3. Underage Accounts

People under 18 must not register for or use Cast2Crew. Parental or guardian permission does not override this restriction.

Where we reasonably suspect an account belongs to someone under 18, we may restrict access while reviewing the concern and request proportionate age-verification information.

If we establish that the account holder is under 18, we will disable their access. If there are signs of abuse or exploitation, we will also follow the reporting and response procedures below.

4. Reporting a Child Safety Concern

Anyone can report suspected child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation or an underage account.

Reports can be submitted:

  • Through Cast2Crew’s in-app reporting or support mechanism.
  • By emailing admin@cast2crew.com.

You do not need to prove that abuse has occurred before reporting a concern.

Where possible, provide the relevant username, profile or content link, approximate date and time, and a brief description.

Do not download, screenshot, copy, forward or attach suspected child sexual abuse material. Report its location instead.

If a child is in immediate danger in Australia, call 000. Do not wait for Cast2Crew to respond.

Reports can also be made directly to:

  • Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation: https://www.accce.gov.au/report
  • eSafety Commissioner: https://www.esafety.gov.au/report

5. How We Respond

We prioritise reports involving suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation.

Depending on the circumstances, we will:

  • Promptly review the report and assess any immediate risk.
  • Restrict access to suspected harmful content or affected accounts while reviewing the matter.
  • Remove confirmed child sexual abuse material from the service without delay.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts involved in child sexual abuse or exploitation.
  • Report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the appropriate regional authority and make other reports required by law.
  • Escalate suspected grooming, exploitation or immediate danger to appropriate law-enforcement authorities.
  • Cooperate with lawful requests from police, regulators and relevant service providers.

We handle any necessary evidence and account records securely, with restricted access, in accordance with applicable law and lawful preservation requirements. Users should not collect or redistribute illegal material themselves.

We may limit the information we provide about an investigation to protect affected people or avoid interfering with official inquiries.

6. Designated Child Safety Representative

Cast 2 Crew Pty Ltd designates the following representative as its child safety point of contact:

  • Representative: Allan Cridland
  • Role: Creator of Cast2Crew and designated Child Safety Representative
  • Email: admin@cast2crew.com

Our representative is ready and able to discuss reported child sexual abuse material, Cast2Crew’s prevention practices, report-review procedures, enforcement actions and relevant compliance matters.

The representative is authorised to coordinate action and communicate with Google Play, other platform providers, law enforcement and relevant regulators about child safety concerns.

This contact is not an emergency service.

7. Privacy and Protection of Reporters

We handle child safety reports sensitively and limit access to people who need the information to respond.

We do not permit harassment or retaliation against anyone who raises a genuine child safety concern.

We may disclose relevant information to authorities where required or permitted by law. We cannot promise absolute confidentiality where disclosure is necessary to protect a child or meet a legal obligation.

8. Prevention and Review

We maintain an 18+ registration requirement and review our reporting, moderation and account-enforcement processes to reduce the risk of abuse.

We do not claim that age restrictions or moderation can prevent every incident. We act on concerns brought to our attention and use incidents to improve our safeguards.

This policy supports our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. We review it when our services, legal obligations or app-store requirements change.
